Free masks,

A little kampung spirit can go a long way.

Doorstep mask assistance

We bring volunteers and local helpers together to organise doorstep haze-mask assistance.

We welcome interest from across Singapore. Help depends on available allocation, volunteer capacity and a confirmed handover. Registering a request does not guarantee immediate delivery or coverage in every area.

How a handover is arranged

Share what is needed. Plan with care. Confirm the handover.

  1. 01

    Share your request or offer

Use the appropriate form to request masks or volunteer. We review requested quantities against the available supply; Block Hosts share consenting households’ aggregate counts.

  2. 02

    Coordinate with care

We group requests by area and match them with available volunteers. We coordinate each request personally; submission alone does not reserve masks.

  3. 03

    Agree a handover

For household requests, we’ll contact you to arrange doorstep delivery, subject to availability. We agree a batch handover with Block Hosts, who distribute to consenting neighbours. We then record completion privately.

Small moments.
Real connection.

Beyond a mask, there is a conversation. A chance to listen, explain and check in.

Community members gathered around a table of masks.
Time to talk, not just hand over.

It starts with
someone close to home.

My dad is a taxi driver, and my ah ma likes going around collecting cardboard.

My concern for family grew into an idea: neighbours helping neighbours, with time to listen as well as lend a hand.

Questions, answered
with care.

Start here. Then choose the way you’d like to take part.

Is SG As One independent? Who funded the masks?

We’re an independent community effort. I personally bought and funded the first batch of 3,000 masks entirely from my own savings. This funding statement applies to the first batch.

Can I request masks for my household?

Yes. Choose “I need masks” and select your household. Share your own contact details, postal code and quantity needed. We’ll confirm availability and arrangements with you.

What does a Block Host do?

If you are a Block Host, we’ll agree a batch for you to distribute to consenting neighbours. Share only your own contact details and aggregate household and mask counts. Do not send neighbours’ names, contact lists or unit numbers.

Does signing up guarantee delivery?

No. We review requests against available supply and volunteer capacity. A request or receipt does not reserve masks or confirm a handover. Please wait for our confirmation.

How can I help?

You can offer time for packing, collection, doorstep delivery or coordination. You can also offer supplies, transport or other practical support. We’ll agree the activity and timing with you.

What is the difference between N95 and KN95?

N95 follows US standards; KN95 follows Chinese standards. Each requires at least 95% particle filtration in its respective laboratory test. That is not a guarantee of 95% personal protection. Proper fit matters. Comfort depends on the model, size and your face; KN95 is not always more comfortable.

How are N95 and KN95 masks allocated?

I allocate N95 and KN95 masks at my discretion, considering availability and individual preferences. If you prefer N95, I try to accommodate that without asking you to justify your preference. I can’t guarantee a particular type.

Are surgical or cloth masks the same as a respirator?

Surgical masks block larger irritating particles; cloth-mask performance varies. Neither is equivalent to a well-fitting respirator for fine haze particles. Wearing a mask does not replace reducing exposure to haze.

What should older adults know before using N95 or KN95?

Older adults should consult a doctor before using N95 or KN95, especially with serious heart or lung conditions or breathing difficulty. If uncomfortable, take a break in a cleaner-air place. If you feel unwell, seek medical advice.

Why can’t we simply order more masks?

I’m balancing demand, stock and available funds. Ordering too much risks unused stock if demand is lower than expected. Ordering too little may mean buying urgent supplies from resellers at a higher price. I’m making careful decisions as requests become clearer; I can’t promise unlimited stock.
